Alderman, Ward Eight Ross H. Arnett, III (D)

Ross Arnett is a retired senior executive with 32 years of public service with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is a professional economist and a nationally known expert on private health insurance and on health care use and spending. Before retiring, Ross managed a professional staff of 65 and an annual budget in excess of $50 million. He now manages a small health economics consulting business. He lives in the Eastport neighborhood of the City with his wife Kathy and son Ross, IV. Ross has a long record of community involvement and civic participation where ever he has lived. As an Annapolis resident, he has served on the Eastport Civic Association Board for many years and was President for two years. Ross is a member of the Eastport Business Association and the Maritime Republic of Eastport.
